The 26th of June is International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Annually, the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) commemorates this day as Substance Abuse Awareness Day. The use, misuse and abuse of alcohol, illicit drugs, over the counter and prescription medications (OTC/PRE) affect the health and well-being of millions of people throughout the world.
