Seminar to UCT students on 22 April 2015
University of Cape Town students, 22 April 2015
Peter-John Pearson conducted a seminar for the Masters students in the Social Science Faculty on issues of advocacy with a special emphasis on advocacy by the faith communities. Students from parts of Africa were present. While most of the discussion centred on parliament and influencing legislation, many questions were asked about exercising leverage on various platforms and what kind of advocacy was best suited to various domains.
